And while the Gig closed a few months ago\, Myrtle & Cypress—whose original location is a popular café in Gifford Park—opened in its place. So we’re excited to check it out!\n\nMyrtle & Cypress serves\, coffee\, tea and some tasty pastries.\n\nParking is available in the Omaha Conservatory of Music lot.\n\nEveryone is welcome and encouraged to come\, no matter if you are a beginner\, a native French speaker\, or somewhere in between. We’ll play this by ear. If there’s room and some of us want to gather there\, great!\n\nIf you’re running behind for the first stop\, join us at the second. Or if you don’t want to hang out too long at the second stop come find us at the third.\n\nKeep in mind we will not be able to reserve any tables. But that’s sort of the point. This is meant to be an organic and interactive adventure. They don’t sell food\, but you can order delivery from nearby restaurants. \nEvery Friday there is an open house where you can explore all four floors of the building\, including the artists’ studios and the current exhibit\, PACE New Masters 2024. \nWeather permitting\, we will be sitting out on their spacious patio\, which can be reached from the bar area. \nFree parking is plentiful in the lots next to the building as well as on the street. \nEveryone is welcome\, no matter if you are a beginner\, a native French speaker\, or somewhere in between. \nHope to see you there!
